When it's time to finally take off for your flights, and this might be a bit of a different experience from other types of trips that you need. Here are some things you can expect as you kick off the enjoyment of your cruise package.

While you may be used to self service, it's time to get used to the pampering. And this is what's going to happen when you begin your cruise. Once you arrive at the cruise terminal will notice this. Instead of forcing them to drag your luggage all over the place, you usually take porters for the cruise line. You may have to be patient a little bit so they can get you, because many travelers arrive usually for their vacation at the same time, the terminal can be very crowded place. Just as if you were at the airport, give yourself plenty of extra time to get to the cruise terminal and check in.

When you get the porters to you, they're going to quickly whisk away your luggage and place it in the baggage car. While you may feel a little concerned you will not get on the ship, never fear. While you can lose luggage carriers from time to time on flight transfers, one itinerary is taking care of your bags from beginning to end, and the only place they are going from your ship. It will magically appear in your events at a later time. It will take some time to sort all the luggage just to get on the plane, so be patient. If you want faster service, it never hurts to tip the Porter well, we recommend a minimum $5 tip.

Once your luggage is gone, you have to head into the Terminal. This part of the process will remind you being at the airport, because you will have to go through all the same ray security detection devices as if you were at the airport, so again, be patient. Just be responsible and respectable, and that would be fine. Make sure that you do not have any taboo, like alcohol. Most cruise lines do not allow you to make alcoholic beverages on board with you. This rule only because the safety as much as possible so they can sell alcohol, but you must follow these rules.

Once you make it past security, you will be given a number and the message and send it to the "departures" until the ship ready for you. This is a great opportunity to start to meet other people who will be on the journey with you. Many of them have probably sailed before, you may be able to answer questions on what to expect in your cruising holiday.

Once aboard, find your luxury, to identify the ship, and if you're at a loss for where you are or where you're going, you're likely to find an employee at nearby point you in the right direction.
