Alcoholism, addiction and friends of Bill: after holiday

Regardless of whether one believes alcoholism and addiction from diseases or not (shame we still have this argument in the twenty-first century), real problems for millions and millions of families around the world throughout the year. But the festive seasons and at other times of personal tragedy and importance such as the death of a loved one, divorce date and so it seems to induce dependence, as well as the yearning for self-medication chemically-induced trance.

Having battled with alcoholism and drug addiction most of my adult life (since Viet Nam), those who recover and arrived near and dear to my heart. W Bell, founder of AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), I understood that. Each of us, like millions of others have started the world over more than once, and along the way we have learned the harsh reality of Bible teaching that any man who lives in isolation.

I know friends of Bill w does it make alone. Just like the Group remains the conscience of the Church, Club, school, or even a society going, growth and maturity it remains "friends of Bill w" on the road to a successful and rewarding life.

The good thing is to live everyday to see the new Sunrise, we have a chance to start a new life and help others enjoy a fresh start. This does not mean that all our luggage miraculously disappears. Means that God has given us a new grace and mercy to deal with our demons.

It means that who walk walk a special responsibility to be there for those who are still suffering. However, we do not. But who was fortunate enough and blessed enough to understand salvation power greater than ourselves must take the healing way of life for human suffering. After all, we're just really keep those that give freedom away.

, Especially during this time of year there seems to be a lot of opportunities to reach and assist us to blame. During the calendar year weekend fall off the wagon, more and more people need help in getting back up. After all, we understand better than most that there would be no excuse and that matter much (if at all) the number of times one falls, but how many times one can get back on his feet.

So as we begin the new year, new year's, we often find that the numbers in our recovery seems to have declined. What actually happened to the number who need ourguidance. To a large extent. Maybe the bodies appear to have fallen for mutual support, but it simply means the need for increased awareness.

While others are making new year's resolutions to lose weight, get a better job, go back to school, stop smoking or whatever; we must take decisions to make further efforts to be there for those who are still suffering, to reach out to those in pain, to search for this member of the body that disappeared a week or two before and then have about those works today not tomorrow. Someone you love no tomorrow without interference.

Maybe just show them the life story of Bill W will do the job. I will certainly enhance convictions and strengthen your commitment to make it to make it through, and enjoy the mild this time. One day at a time.
